February 20, 2007 - 1st Blog!!

Hello All...
I decided to begin a blogsite after seeing the blog of a friend who moved away a few years ago. It was so nice to be able to check out her pictures along with the blog underneath that keeps her friends and family updated on their lives. I thought it would be nice to do for my friends and family too. A little easier than logging into myspace every so often. I also love to journal and scrapbook, so I'm hoping this may lead to some digital scrapping!!!
Anyways...
The picture above is of our new puppy, Buddy. He is a Border Collie mix and about 4 mos. old now. Our family just adores him. He is the best dog. He loves to play and loves to just chill, too. He's of the herding breeds of dogs, so he does nip at the kids heels outside, trying to keep "track of them all". It is really kind of funny, even though we are trying to break him of that particular habit. He is just too cute. He shouldn't get too much bigger than what he is right now. His back should get about knee high. He's my buddy, everywhere I go, he wants to go... my buddy, my buddy... my buddy and me. (Remember that one? That's what he reminds me of.)
Our Family...
Devon is in California this week. He is helping to finish up his aunt and uncle's remodel before he comes back home. The kids had a four day weekend and we all went bowling with Aunt Janiele and cousin Jacob and some of our friends yesterday. We had so much fun. Angel topped our scores with a whopping 114!!! She loved being the "winner", especially over the boys. They went back to school today, bummed, but it sure made my day a little easier! LOL... I even got to have lunch with another momma friend of mine, kidless! It was really nice to be able to pay attention to the person you are lunching with and to be able to eat somewhere other than McD's!!! We went to this really cute restaurant that is in a house, made into a homey little salad, sandwich shop. It's called the Blue Moose Cafe in Eagle, ID. It has a really great fireplace, homey atmosphere, quaint decor and little tables perfect for "girls lunch". Great food too!!!
Anyways, I better sign off and get ready for all the kids to come home (Angel is at a neighbor's house playing with a friend right now, yahoo!)... Hope some of you start blogging too. Talk to you soon!
